I used to think of knowing as an absoulte state. I believed that learning was a journey that culminated with the accomplishment of knowing.

Little did I know that "knowing" something simply means that you've captured the complexity of an idea or a concept for a single moment, in a single context. Knowing something today is not a promise that you'll recognize it tomorrow.
