Whenever we played TRUTH OR #DARE as kids, I always chose the "boring" option of truth. I was nervous about humiliating myself in order to fulfill a crazy dare.

As an adult looking back, I'm surprised that I never understood that being honest and sharing a part of your soul can sometimes feel like the scariest choice.
